Is there a nightlife in Punta Cana?

Hi i'm planning a trip to punta cana and staying at the Paradisus resort. I was wondering if anyone could recommend some nightclubs or bars that are safe and fun for me and 3 other girlfriends to visit? I've heard of Mangu from the hotel but i was wondering if there were any other options? Thanks. Reply to this

Hi Peaches! I'm sure you'll LOVE Punta Cana--it's a beautiful part of the world. The nightlife is a work-in-progress, and it will be changing drastically soon, with the opening of this new club, Webster Hall. There is one in NYC that has been around forever and is a staple in the NYC nightlife--so, I'm sure this one will be no less. Definitely check it out online at www.websterhallpc.com--they have some great pictures and info. Good luck and maybe we'll cross paths down there! Reply to this

Well I love punta cana...but I think many tourists that go there miss out by not leaving the hotels. The best parts of my vacation last year was when i left the resort to do other stuff. Its a great place with really friendly locals. But I must admit the place needs some better nightlife....so its nice to hear there is a new place coming! I will def. check it out on my next trip!!!!

We are heading to Punta Cana in March. First we go to Turks and Caicos in November for ten days. Punta Cana sounds like a mini-Cancun, resort, resort, resort, not a lot of substance. Puerto Plata and Santo Domingo probably have more culture. Reply to this

Night life in Punta Cana is great, just make sure you get out of your hotel. I find the best clubs to be Mangu and Tropicana. Full of young people on vacation but also many locals which make them a great place to wait for sunrise.

P.S. I find this website to be very complete in Punta Cana information, specially what not to miss while you're down there:
