Dave Freeman, the guy who wrote "1000 things to do before you die" died last month in an accident at 47. Name the favourite thing you've ticked off your bucket list and the next one you've got in mind.

Fortunately, he got to do and see some awesome things in his travels. Unfortunately, he had only visited half the places written about in his book (his co-author visited the other half).

Name the favourite things you've ticked off your bucket list and the next one you've got in mind.

My recent favourites - learning to dive/diving the Galapagos, the Inca Trail, skiing Argentina and visiting San Pedro Prison, La Paz.

Next up - African Safari, Carnivale in Rio and because I'm now living in Ireland - a proper pub lock-in/spontaneous Irish sing-a-long!! Reply to this

Hi Ellen,

my best one by far, zero gravity flight from Cape Canaveral....second close, you may also have done it, dive Darwin's Arch in Galapagos...

The last few weeks, months and years are full of these things...many people who know me just a little are always asking...do you have only 3 months to live...because that's the way I live...

Next...well...great adventures is one thing...I do them...but for me in the next few trips it's going to be great cuddles all over the place as I've met a wonderful person...with great adventures also for sure.

Love your post...we only live once, so better be good...you have those who dream, those who pretend...those who regret...and us...so let's enjoy!

Have fun!

Get your bucket list out kids! Time's awasting .....RIP Dave Freeman

My bucket list is simple: learn to fly a plane, hike Macchu Pichu, write a novel (bestseller would be a bonus), dive off Galapagos, take the Siberian Express across and see Moscow/St. Petes, great wall of China, trek Kauai and get LOST for a while, soak in thermowaters of Iceland after chasing reindeer,....oh and a zero gravity flight would be excellent! So much to do soooooo little time! Reply to this

Dear Andrea,

If you head to Iceland, don't forget that you can dive the Atlantic plate crack....one of the clearer water ever...haven't done it yet, but it's on the list!

And we do agree on Matchu Pichu, zero gravity and Galapagos, check my blog for some fun pics of the last 2! Reply to this
