Brisbane to Lorne and back

I am travelling from Brisbane down to Lorne Victoria and back (26th Dec-12th Jan) and would like some suggestions of places to see and things to do......

I live in Brisbane and myself and my housemate have decided to go down to Lorne Victoria to go to a music festival over the new year. We will be leaving on the 26th of December 08 (driving down) and plan to be in Lorne 3 days later for a music festival which ends on New years day.

So we basically have from the 1st of Jan till the 12th to drive back up to Brisbane. We are planning on driving the great ocean road to see the Twelve Apostles. Possibly Visit Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney CBD's for a day and go to Bondi beach.

Other than that we havent really thought of what to do and I am hoping that you guys maybe able to give me a little inspiration.
