what is the 1st country in SA I should visit?

need an advice. I'm going to spend a couple of weeks in S America but I don't know which country to start. From the south to the north or from the west to the east. maybe it doesn't matter. anyway I'd be glad to read smth. thanks Reply to this

I would start at whichever has the cheapest airfares for getting there and the least visa hassle. If you are only going for a couple of weeks you wont be going all the way from North to South or visa versa. With that much time I would just choose one country.

Like Mel said, with only a few weeks you're best sticking to one country, or even one area in a country. Argentina is a good place to start if you haven't been to SA before, it's very safe, there are some amazing sights, it's well set up for visitors with good transport links, etc and plenty of English speakers if you don't speak Spanish.
