hello!I am from Latvia and planning to do a RTW to SE Asia/Aus/NZ in the end of this year.....but as I my budget is limited I wanted to do some work in Australi or NZ....but as LAtvia is not eligible for work & holiday visa I wanted to know if anyone has experience with getting wotk visa in these countries - how esay or difficult it is if you go with tourist visas and try to find some temporary job there and ty to apply for visa?????

To get the visa for Australia you have to be 30 years old or less. I dont know it it is available to citizens of all countries or not. You could call the Australian consulate and ask.

Remember though, that if you are working on a tourist visa it will be at your own risk - and probably at a lower wage than you would otherwise be entitled to.

Reply to this you need to apply for work visas before entering Australia or NZ; you cannot get one after you are already in the country. If you are on an ordinary tourist visa then it is illegal to work whilst in the country. If caught you will be fined and deported. If you enter on a tourist visa and the customs officials suspect you will be working illegally when in the country then you will be refused entry.
