There are a few places that had solid gear. The place that we went to was called Andean Kingdom and the owner's name is Andreas. If I remember i rented an ice axe and crampons for 5 days and it cost me about 20 dollars. You can also talk to them about going to watun machai (spelling)? Which is a place about an hour and a half outside of huaraz he owns a refuggio you can stay and there is solid rock climbing for days there. Have fun- Oh also if you don't know of a place to stay at DEFINITELY stay at Zarela's clean comfortable rooms, super chill place and the best breakfast I had while there plus she has a lot of knowledge about anything you would want to know for climbing Reply to this
