Does anyone have any recommendations of hostels/hotels/apartments for carnival 2009? there will be 8 of us so hoping to stay together

Already been ripped off by booking an apartment on the internet...

Hi, you can visit this web site chelagarto.com they have hostels in Ipanema and Copacabana and they includ the tickets for carnival in the price.

How did you get ripped off and who did it to you?

If there are 8 of you I would guess an apartment would not be a good choice for you. Most owners of apartments would not want 8 people staying there. Unless you are 4 couples that are able to share beds. If you picked a Hostel, you may all be able to stay there possibly 4-5 per room...... Reply to this
