No matter whether it is the first time or you are a returning visitor, visiting Las Vegas is always a thrilling and exciting experience. Unlimited wine, dazzling Neons, strip clubs and all sorts of adult entertainment – that is what Las Vegas is all about after all. Handling these, however, could prove to be a challenging one as well if you are not well-versed in the local culture and local styles. Las Vegas is a place where no one has the time to set you up in their style. You are either a match or you are a mismatch amidst the Vegas crowd. The second one would certainly not be the option of your choice; hence, you need to be sure that you are all decked up while you are here in Las Vegas.
#1 – Dresses to wear under the sun While you are in Vegas, there is as no definite dress code that you need to follow. However, to ensure that you do not feel out of place you got to dress up properly according to the venue and the occasion. During the day, both men and women can wear pretty much the same way, shorts or
jeans with colorful and bright looking Tees or blouses. The torn and rugged looking dresses are usually not in while you are on the streets of Las Vegas. Do not dare to pack any flip flops while as a footwear solution while you are packing for Las Vegas.
#2 - Dresses for nightclubs While visiting a nightclub in Vegas, you need to adhere to the dress code that they follow. It could be really embarrassing if you are turned away by the bouncers just because you are not adhering to the dress code policy of that particular club. For women, it is skirts, jeans, jackets, button-down shirts and for men, it is usually shirts and jackets with jeans that are in. Sneakers, flip flops are not the preferred footwear items while visiting a nightclub in Vegas.
#3 – Gears for walking around Just for walking around in Las Vegas, feel free to wear anything that makes you comfortable. The weather conditions in Vegas can be very fluctuating at times, hence, you got to check the weather reports prior doing your packing so that you know whether to pack any warm clothes for your trip or not. Do not forget to pack a nice pair of walking shoes for walking around in the streets of Las Vegas. You will be doing a lot of walking from strip to downtown; hence, a good pair of comfortable walking shoes has to be a part of your packing.
#4 - Hairdressing for Vegas While preparing for the Vegas trip, you really need not do your hair from the local hair salon in your city. They will have no idea of the Vegas hair styles and you would end up with messy hair that would make a fool out of you as you enter the dance clubs of Las Vegas. The best bet is to try out a Vegas hairdresser and hair stylist who would know the hair styles that are in. That’s exactly what I do every time I land in Vegas. You would get truckloads of hair stylists and hairdressers at
http://www.yelp.com/c/las-vegas/hair. I personally prefer doing my haircut and makeup at
Alexa’s hair salon , as the hair stylist there knows what exactly is required to look good amidst the crowd at the nightclubs of Las Vegas. You can check her out at http://hairbeautylasvegas.com.
#5 – Hit the Spas While you would certainly be more concentrated towards the strip clubs and casinos of Las Vegas, it is not a bad idea to spend some quality time in the spas as well. Las Vegas has some of the world- class Spa services which are a nice way to detox after a freaky night out. I make it a point to hit to the Spa of my hotel every time I head to Las Vegas.
#6 – Traveling midweek is economic It is true that Las Vegas is in full throttle on the weekends, but that does not mean that the fun and thrill gets downsized during the week. The benefit of visiting Vegas mid-week is that most of the hotels would charge you less, even the ones at the Strip. As the crowd would be less, you would get more time to do everything as per your convenience, everything.
#7 – Don’t drink to wake up in jail Drinking alcohol almost anywhere is just fine while you are in Vegas. However, you got to put some check on yourself so that you don’t drink so much that the cops need to put you behind the bars. The last thing that you would want to happen while you are in Vegas is to wake up in jail on charges of drinking and creating a ruckus on the streets.
