Had a couple of hours sleep and then went out in the afternoon to see Lima with Arthuro who arranged our acc Casa del Arthuro which I would recommend highly however he speaks only Spanish and French.
Lima is an amazing city with (even by my standards coming from Africa ) the worst roads I have ever seen!!!!
For my trip I brought a mini laptop (get a netbook,an eee or the n10 from Samsung) they are the lightest with the best battery life as well, mine needs an external keyboard to be any good which broke today so get a NETBOOK!

Lima city centre is very nice but don’t be surprised by the bad roads and the run down look as it is a third world country.
Every second weekend there is a festival in the city centrewhere people from all over Peru come to play music, we were lucky to be there on one of these weekends so we saw all the traditional folk dress and the bands supporting them.
Bought some lovely food including some avocado which was lovely. Looking forward to another day with Arthuro who is great lo show us around.
Beer Blog- Had another beer today, first jug came with hat a cigarette in it so sent it back. I Believe the beer was called crystallite but after a jug on an empty stomach I could stand lo be corrected. It had a very bitter taste and that was not the cigarette!! It is also served not very cold but the Rifus Bar was quite trendy.

After a great nights sleep even with the dogs barking and the whole neighbourhood having a party I woke up at around 715 and got ready for breakfast which consisted of bread and some lovely tea with soya milk , which I love thank to Rachael putting me on to it.
Went in LIMA again arid had a more leisurely clay, looked at getting a compact camera, but not at £150 for a old type. Yesterday we were ripped off in the pub when we spent 27 new sols for 2 beers and a coke however today we did well to get 3 Meals for lunch for 22 Sol so we now know that it is possible we hare al least learnt our lesson.
Went to the top of Lima today to look over the city culled Agrapa on a bus ride that most people would feel nervous on - see photos on how the Peruvians don’t have a problem with not using barriers where most would be nessessary.
Beer Blog - Bought some Pilsen Polar today at an offlicence . . . absolutely fabulous !! A dark beer dhat is like a niceGuinness that is quite sweet but so good if you had the stamina wouldnot stop drinking in fact I enjoyed if the most of all the been I have had so far So… sorry Rilcards Red you have been ousted.
