Kaip ir buvo žadėta Santa Cruz pasieniu 4.20 ryto. Terminalas uždarytas, o lauke tamsu nors autobuvai vienas kitas atvažiuoja ir išvažiuoja, tad žmonių ir gi šiek tiek yra. Nelabai noriu vaikščioti po miestą kol tamsu, tad bandau susirasti kokį viešbutuką kur galėčiau šiek tiek numigti. Aplink visi viešbučiai brangūs, bet viename iš viešbučių leidžia prisijungti prie interneto ir pasėdėti vestibiulyje. Kai prašvinta keliauju iki miesto centro, ten pas tą pačią merginą Viviana, pas kurią buvau apsistojęs prieš savaitę, pasidedu daigtus. Dieną taip namie ramiai ir praleidžiu tik trumpam išeinu į miestą išsiaiškinti kodėl neveikia čia pirkta sim kortelė. Pasirodo Bolivijoj reikia užsiregistruoti ne tik sim kortelę, bet ir telefoną, o tai padaryti galiu tik centriniam ofise, nes esu užsienietis. Arriving in Sucre, Bolivia's administrative capital, was a breath of fresh air. Mainly because it was only 2750 meters above sea level. We were no longer getting out of breath after walking up a flight of stairs due to lack of oxygen. The Sucre's main plaza was a pleasant tree lined square ringed with bars and cafes which provided the perfect spots to watch the world go by from the sunny balconies over looking the streets. Just out of town was a cement factory that had discover a massive fossilized mud bed whist digging for raw materials. This mud bed contained the tracks of over a hundred different dinosaurs, ranging from small chicken like creatures to massive 'saurus monsters. Russ awoke to his ultimate nightmare! A 6 hour uncomfortable bus journey lay ahead, we were checking out of our 4 star luxury hotel and anticipating rather more humble accommodations, and he was struck down with the runs! Thank God for Immodium!! The pills worked and the journey wasn’t too bad, but reclining padded seats would have been nice! Anyway, we were soon in Vallegrande and checking in to accommodation which certainly was more humble. Trish went off exploring the place whilst Russ tried to sleep off his sickness. Fortunately the next day he was well enough to go exploring too. Vallegrande is nothing special. On reflection we think this trip should only be for die-hard Che fans.
