I spent my last weekend in the northern part of Amboro National Park which is the entrance to the Amazonea. I had two days here so one day we went looking for wildlife and the other day I did a 6 hour trek to Mararacu Waterfalls. I stayed at a small family owned resort on the border of the park. They had lots of animals living on their ranch including peacocks who slept up in the lighted tree which was beautiful to watch. I came back to Santa Cruz in time for the big World Cup game. Pred siestou sme dorazili na autobusovu stanicu a cakali kedy pristavia nas autobus. Po chvili za nami prisla pani z predajne listkov, ze sofer ochorel / nasa verzia - nestihol vytriezviet, mali prilis malo predanych listkov/ a preto musime ist s inou spolocnostou. Nastastie nam pomohla vyriesit nove listky a priviedla nas za k autobusu. Jednou zo specialit Juznej Ameriky je ze sa tu plati specialny poplatok za pouzitie autobusovej stanice. Vacsinou je to pomerne mala suma, ale pride nam to ako forma vydierania - mas listok na autobus ? vyborne, ale aby sme ta k nemu pustili tak zaplat! Tak sme zaplatili a vyrazili. Konecna stanica nasho autobusu bol Santa Cruze, mi sme chceli vystupit uz v Buena Vista a tak sme niekolko krat ziadali nasho sofera, aby nam urcite zastavil. O par hodin neskor ... read more
