Hi it is Nitzan and I am going to write a long blog.
From La Paz we drived 20 hours in a bus to a small town called Rurenabaque. There we found a hostel that was full of Israelis but we had no choice. The next morning we found an agency to go to the Pampas. The Pampas is a kind of a savanna. The next morning we woke up early and got on the way with our group to the Pampas. We drived in a jeep for three hours and on the way we saw lots of hawks, eagles, and even one Austrich!!!!! Then we drove 3 more hours in a boat but that was already the begining of the Pampas, after one second we could already see one crocodile!!!!! then we noticed that there are hundreds and thuosands of crocodiles in each shore, and after a few minutes we saw Capybaras! Capybaras are a kind of a giant rat some say it is a kind of pig I dont Know what it is, the only thing that I know is it is funny animals and it is the biggest rodent. But it started raining strongly. We arrived to the camp and
went to shower of course was cold.
In the camp, there was a place of food for yellow monkeys. The food was leftovers from what we ate. They even ate pasta. The yellow monkeys are really really cute. They are small and off course yellow.
The next moring it was Pouring rain from 4:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
WE were suposed to go looking for Anacondas (snakes) but we couldn't because of the rain!!!!!!!!! After the rain we went to "swim" with pink dolphins and then to fish Piranias (fish). When we swem with the dolphins we didn´t really swem with them, we swem 6 meters away from them because they are afraid. It was still fun we could see their head and their back and once we saw a dolphins tail just like a whales. Then we kept going with the boat to find a good place to fish. We stoped in few places. Shachar my little brother fished 4 crabs!!!! He was scared of them so once I took the crab from him and the guide told me to throw it to the crocodile. That crocodile was a friend of the guide he knew him fot 8 years
the crocodile´s name is Pedro. Omer my middle brother fished 4 or 5 small sardines and I did too. My mom fished a very small pirania and my dad fished a crab but it jumped back to the water. One girl of our group fished a pirania a pretty big size. Then I wanted to "pet" a crocodile but I was a bit scared so the guide helped me and I did it. Then we went back to the lodge eat dinner, and Omer my brother, my dad, and I went with the guide to look for crocodiles´s red eyes. it was nice.
The next morning it was burning hot and we went to look for Anacondas (snakes) we walkeed one hour in a grass of 2 meters long, then we came to swamps to look for the Anacondas we looked for them 4 hours. The guides walked in the swamps looking for the Anacondas but they did not find, they said we all 4 guides will go to look for the Anacondas and the groups will stay but they looked for 1 hour and did not find. So we went back to the lodge without seeing any Anacondas. the next day
it was time to go, on the way we saw some animals like when we came, and finally we arrived to the "port" then we drived in the jeep for another 3 hours and we arrived back to Rurenabaque. At the end of the trip we got t-shirts from the tour organiser.
After the pampas trip, we did another interesting thing close to Rurenabaque, on which I will tell you in my next entry.
