ARGENTINA....WERE THE
TUCANS FLY FREELY
Capital - Buenos Aires
Language - Spanish
Money-4 peso to 1Euro starting to get more expensive
Arrived in Iguazu Falls Argentina on Sunday the 5th after nearly 24 hrs travelling by bus but again we paid a little extra for comfort and was able to sleep, this enables us to do things when we arrive and not fall into bed for the day after travelling.
Stayed in
Hostel Iguassu with swimming pool, it was bliss, planned to see the Argentinian side of Iguassu Falls the next day but it was torrential rain all morning so we went to the Brazilian side at 1pm when the rain subsided, it was fabulous but we hear its no way near as nice as the Argentinian side....on the way out of the park a Tucan flew passed....had to pinch myself, his big yellow bill was bigger than his body it was unreal!!
LINK Argentinian Side- Best pictures..best side to visit!

Link to Iguassu Falls Brazilian side Monday took a bus to see the Argentinian side....wow..it was hypnotising!! Iguazu is made up of
150 to 270 falls that stretch across a two mile area of Argentina&Brazil.
The falls can be seen up close (plan to get wet) by taking a boat ride right up to the mist of the gushing water...or by simply walking along one of the many walkways to see one of the many falls. You will be treated to a multi-sensory experience: roaring falls, hugh rainbow arcs which I have captured in the Agrentinian side pictures, Waterfall mist, green jungle, and, in the distance, parrots, Tucans and hawks cruising the skies!! Truely mind blowing!
On our way down through the walk a Coatis (Badger like animal) came out of the bushes and grabbed a bag that one of the girls was holding and ran away with it....mugged by a coatis!!! ...it was so funny, there was chaos for a minute until we realised what was happening. After that we went to an all you can eat buffet in a hotel at the falls...steak, pork, chicken, salad, dessert, pasta....all for USD8!!
Then back to the hostel and caught our cama (Luxury) bus to the big apple (17 hrs-126 peso-3 peso to the USD)....
BUENOS AIRES!!!! Paris of
