the boys in these pictures are the staff (very nice boys) We arrived in buenos aires on the 20th december just in time for christmas. Now the millhouse hostal i can describe as a badly organised student union and was adiment i wasnt staying there for more than a few days...3 weeks later was still there this place grows on you...something to do with the friendly staff, finding out there was sun terrace after 1 week and ofcource the 10 peso wine in plastick cups ...no no seriously ive had the best time here.
We went to a club called opera bay which is a little like el divino in ibiza for those that have been there and staragley enough has a big pond poll thing inside so you can imagime some of us cam out a little wetter than others!.
We went to pacha on christmas eve, and a crazy club called club 69 mid week which was the best, no tourists and mainly a trannys and drag with banging electro music (mum dad thats means a gay club incase your wondering..but im not gay just incase you were wondering that either)
We watched the sunrise on new years day from opera bay which was amazing even through
befor or after we went out?
again inn the hostal where we spent most of our waking hours my blurry eyes. It was weird being away for christmas as was 43 degees so had to chuck ourselves into a fountain to cool down (its what the locals were doing and was the only option to stop sweating, and a good one at that!)...arriving back at the hostal dripping wet looking like drowned rats put a smile on a few peoples faces im sure!
I can honestly say ive never eaten so much amazing steak here and good wine every day and its all so cheap i have overdosed on it. Im worried about leaving this country and having normall food again!
We met katie who we were with in potosi in bolivia so have been having lots of girlie fun going out and ofcourse shopping, my rucksack is so full now i have to sit on it to get the thing shut! (special thanks to mum, dad and brother from christmas contributions for the shopping spree)
met the irish girls and boys that we were in bolivia with aswell so have had so much fun. We went to la boca for the day and its you have gone back in time theres lots of tango

this is at opera bay, we winged it and managed to sneak in free ha ha there and people doing shows outside the cafes in the street. We visited la boca football stadium but the football season has finished now so just had a nose round and learnt about the football hooligans maradona and the argentina mafia all very interesting!
Argentina is a great place and the best city ive been too in south america, its kind of got a barcelona feel for it so would love to come back, stay longer and learn to speak the language properly rather than my rubbish spanish ive picked up along the way!
We visited an art gallery and a park and went ona few extended walks to the port and recoleta to the cematery to see evitas grave.
I wish i could say i explored more of the citys museums, gallarys and parks however spent most of the time sat on the couch of the millhouse hostal laughing with the girls and drinking wine, i would change that though for anything i have alot of fond and blurry memorys of this place especially the live entertainment on a night time!
I was so sad to leave here have had so much fun with the
pacha on christmas eve
im not to sure whats going on here city and the people i have made friends with its deffinatly on one of my favourite place lists and would love to come back some day.
