Arrived at the airport around 16 and it didnt take to long time to go through customs and everything. I took a taxi to Calle Armenia in barrio Palermo where my friend Guri lives - it's an area with a lot of small pubs, cafes and stores. In general after my taxi tour I was very impressed already, a beautiful city and very nice and talkative taxi driver - only minus was him telling me he didn't like Chilean people. They have the same love-hate relationship we seem to have with Sweden.
It was so nice to see Guri again! We stayed in her room for a while talking and then went out for some really tasty tacos at a small cool restaurant. After that we went to the movies, we wanted to watch Hangover 3, but it was all sold out so we went to see Fast and Furious 6. The cine was really big and modern, very different from the one I went to in Valpo! Movie was really good and we hurried home to listen some more to the soundtrack and we had a lot of fun! Perfect first night.

We woke up
around 10 and took the bus to go pick up Guris visa close to the port. I get the feeling that I have been spending to much time with my dear father cause one of the things that fascinated me the most was their old school retro busses. It didn't take that long and afterwards we walked around Puerto Madero - a really beautiful area. After that we went to Reservo Ecologia which is a little holy green spot in the big city - it feels exactly like being in the middle of a giant forrest. We walked down to the sea, which is brown but still beautiful and calming sounds. Then we walked around near Plaza de mayo. Where the white scarf mothers still protest after losing their children during the dictatorship. After this we were getting tired from all the walking and took the metro back to Palermo where we had delicous lunch at a small cafe close to Guris apartment. After a looong nap before going out for dinner with Kate and Nina at Bella Italia Parilla.
I had a really good Argentinian steak and we drank some really good wine.

Slept until late and
went to go make Guris tattoo! Really cool small tattoo place, American tattoo salon - super professional people. The guy was really friendly, but unfortunately I couldn't go with her - so I waited at the reception - the tattoo was really pretty and the guy was really good - you almost couldnt tell it was a new tattoo when we took of the plastic, it wasn't all swollen and red. After that we went to the cementery of the rich and famous where all the former presidents, generals etc was barried, and we saw Evitas grave. After some lunch we went home and napped before going to Guris friends house to party - later we went to a giant nightclub called Rosebar and had a really fun night.

Last day! Slept in and went for brunch with Nina and Kate, everyone still tired. Then we went to a really cute market which is only there on weekends and I got myself a little souvenir. A lot of handmade stuff and another beautiful sunny day. Then we sat around in the park there for a while enjoying the view of the city. Around 6 we went to see
Hangover III with the girls and we were the only ones that laughed really hard in the theater. Then we went for dinner at Benihanas where Kate proudly showed of her abillities to smash an egg. Really good food. Home and shower and get packed and sleep a little before getting up at 4 to go to the airport.
