The Long And Winding Road

Looking to the middle right you can see the track disappear over the hill. This was a tough one on a very hot afternoon. I just set a pace count the pole steps, and rarely look up. It’s quite meditative and your at the peak before you realise.
Day 8: 33kms To Cirueña, A Modern Day Ghost Town. GFC ? Who Knows.

Staying in a ghost town tonight. Cireña is a modern development with many condominiums and houses, nestled around a top class 18 hole golf course. But most of the town is overgrown, unloved, and uninhabited. Big money poured in and seems to have created a lemon.
