... Flat Whites were introduced to the masses by Starbucks, which were apparently invented in Australia. We gave one a shot in NZ, with the logic that the proximity to Australia would result in a good cup of it here, at Cafe Cortado. Not great, but still pretty good, it was a decent start to our first meal in Middle Earth.
