Science Experiment Gone Wrong ...

... cocoa sponge cake with chocolate bubbles and ginger ice cream ... I have no idea what this was supposed to be. There was a little bit of cake underneath the bubbles, but this was perhaps the most unappetizing dessert ever conceived of by man! It looked like someone just blew a bunch of bubbles into a cup of chocolate milk, but tasted more like someone kept farting into a cup of chocolate milk! There was a terrible bitter taste, and the dish may have even tasted worse than it looked. I'm all for molecular gastronomy, but this one just went way too far ...
