We've stayed another day in Moab as our base for visiting nearby Canyonlands National Park and Deadhorse Point State Park. We started the morning off with Deadhorse, which is on a mesa. The story about the name is that the Indians would herd wild horses on the mesa to this point so that they could capture them but some would run right off the edge.
