Good post This is very helpful as I am planning to visit US later this year. I think you may find this travel blog interesting as well which is www.dhanaritravelblog.com
Welcome to Travelblog... I'm one of the Moderators. FYI, you can transfer your Travelpod blogs to this site. See the first notice under Site News on your Control Panel for how to do it. I would love to read about all your travels. BTW, I went to Geneva College. We played football against Edinboro.
Travelpod transfer Thank you. I just might do that, transfer my previous blog to Travelblog, but I think I'll wait until I get back home from our current trip.
Good to hear from another (at least at one time) Pennsylvanian!
Rocks Seems like its mostly sandstone of different types. Barb and I have both said the same thing about Utah; we would miss the trees and lakes and clear streams that we have back home. Love all the sunshine but couldn't live with the heat. And we love the wide open spaces but would miss being where people grow things and make a living.
Dillon The picture of the snow fence reminds me that I DON'T want to be there when the wind and snow are whipping across there. This blog reminds me of what I DO love about a road trip. The enjoyable small surprises along the way that make it so worthwhile. You know that there will be great things to see in the national parks. You don't know that you will be enjoying an Indian taco and seeing a rodeo at a county fair. Please tell me that you fished in that wonderful stream.
Lava Hot Springs Lava Hot Springs looks like a nice place to visit. Unique and a more comfortable size than Salt Lake City. You will never see me attempting to drive in the Salt Lake City area. The reason could be fear or wisdom. Maybe a mixture of both. But I would like to see the great Salt Lake.
Lava Hot Springs It was a nice little town to visit, just what we needed. There was a marina on Great Salt Lake so apparently they take boats out on the lake.
