The Shoreline and the Other Side of the River

This photo provides a bit of an idea of how long the shoreline extends. But it also shows the sand on the other side of the river, none of which is visible once the monsoons come in July. At this time of year, everything is very dry as it is nearing the end of the very long dry season.
