SALAY AND MAGWAY
December 6th 2016 Tuesday pulled into Salay a 7,000 resident village founded in 13thCentury with very British colonial feel with lovely preserved old buildings and in fact our tour director has renovated a beautiful building and it now houses a museum, restaurant and shop. Just read my evening " blog" ,very interesting as usual .! ! ! Older buildings are beautiful Two boys in picture , young Novice Monks , how old were they ? They look far too young to be doing what they are . But ! I believe they start very young .Proccession would have been interesting ,I guess , & very colourful as well .events like that ,in other country's are good to see , but then Australia seldom have such things .sunny & warm today , change coming they tell us .
