We learned that most of the animals we see are alpacas which are used for their hair fibres for making and exporting clothing. The llamas have a much longer neck and nose, different ears and are used only as transport animals. The white one is back is a llama, others are lapacas
Arequipa April 10th 2016 It's hard to believe that we have only been in this beautiful country of Peru for only a week. It took us a long time to get here (boring details) but left Canada on April 4 and arrived in Arequipa on April 6.
