Where the Alaskan highway started in 1942. The guys did a hell of a job completing this in under a year, contending with muskeg and mosquitoes in the summer and freezing conditions in the winter. Many died in the cold.

Fort Nelson to Dawsons Creek

Left this morning around 9 after a complimentary coffee and muffin and headed out toward some dark and menacing looking clouds.
