Final stop on trip WELL DONE Kim! You and Trev have the right attitude - what a fantastic trip. Am sure yo will have many more trips of a lifetime tool
LUNCH !! Sends a shiver down your spine doesn't it !! Though I do believe that if you eat like this all the time your system learns to accept it. Now is probably not the time for you to start acclimatising however :-)
Hello from home .... Hi there! How are the travellers? Mosh I'm learning a lot about geography reading your blogs .... Really must study the globe more!!! Your trip sounds amazing - thank god you're doing this blog because imagine how many wines it would take to recount these adventures!!!
Thank you soooooo much for the Valtea shirt - Chanel dropped it by last week and Ben had it on in 5seconds flat. He moves it, so thank you. Not much to report from here - it's getting warmer, Ben started school last week. Can you believe it? Chanel seems fine and we've seen Ryan a couple of times also and he's looking well. Hoping to line him up some work over the holidays all going well. You guys look very happy and relaxed .... Enjoy and take care of each other xxxxx
Hey there you Was thinking of you today! We're good, catching a sail boat from Panama to Colombia starting tomorrow. We'll island hop through the Carribean to cross the Darien gap. Can't believe wee ben's at school. Glad he liked the shirt, I do hope it fitted ok ?. Everything sounds under control at home. Thanks for considering Ryan for a bit of work, hope he works hard if you do.
Only 8 weeks left now and we'll be back, think I'll be lost! Can't wait for a change of wardrobe!! Kim xx

Mexico Hi there, Wow Mexico! Will be interested to hear your thoughts as you travel south. My impression is that things become dramatically more '3rd world' the further south you go towards South America.
This is where intrepid starts to kick in. I assume your travelling companions are experienced enough in these places to keep you all safe. You hear some horror stories...or maybe they're all myths and legends and you'll be safe as houses...Do you have any idea what the coverage for cellphones & internet connection is going to be like for the rest of your journey? We will worry if you disappear off the radar for longer than a few days unexpectedly. Doesn't need to be much... :-) will suffice to let us know you're OK !!
Quick question....how do you eat M&Ms through a helmet viser? hahahaha
Have fun!! :-)
Anna
Mexico We're in good hands with very experienced travelers. We should have internet connection most of the time is my understanding. M & Ms I just flip my lid for ?
Contact Hi Anna, we're about to ride out for the day but my plan is to 'check in' on FB every evening. There may of Course be the odd day when I can't. I'll write more soon x
Hope Diamond So called coz they HOPE it's still where they left it....ba-da-boom!! Mind you, I guess if Trevor couldn't find room for that tiny piece of whatever it was back in Alaska then he definitely wouldn't have room for this....pity really!!
Newton, Idaho Hi Paula! How was your trip? I'm still enjoying being 'on the road'. We're in Detroit now ?. Headed toward Niagara Falls in Canada. All that's on the news here is the presidential race. I'm glad we don't see much TV! I suppose the flag debate is still going on over there.
Hope you're well and happy.
Much love
Kim xx
I can definitely see you on that Bike Kim .... I thought you were going to go on and say you decided to buy it!!! Loving the blogs .... feeling a little green with envy here to be honest! Sounds like a once in a lifetime. Enjoy and keep the updates coming xxx
New bike? Haha, I wish. Trev said he'll price one for me in New Zealand, he reckons that exercise will be enough to put me off. I am keen on a road bike when I get back but we'll see. I was thinking of you today and was going to email you just to say hi and see how you all are. Today was pleasantly cooler at around 30 degrees. We're in east Detroit tonight and may pop up into Canada if we can't get accomodation due to the labour weekend. Did Chanel bring the tshirt in for Ben, I'm not sure it'll fit but hope it does! Any news in WW ( or NZ)? Hope you're keeping well and happy as always. Miss you xx
Power walkers v bears It depends entirely on the environment. You meet those power walkers on a narrow footpath and you might prefer your chances with a bear ?
Hi, I live in Warkworth, New Zealand and love adventure travel. I'll keep you posted!?? ??
