P Chaweng Hotel, Chaweng, Koh Samui - in room waterfall
You need to hunt around to find cheap places in Koh Samui,but we stumbled accross this place, a bit behind the beach, but still only 5mins away and close to lovely night food market. Away from the craziness of Central Chawend, but only a 10min walk.
We paid 450baht (£9) for this, which was a total bargain. Admitedly the room was a bit mould smelling, but we descovered why when it rained and we had a small waterfall coming down the wall. Huge room, TV, large hot water bathroom - we can deal with a bit of indoor rain!
