Vandaag vertrekken we uit de GC, maar dat doen we wel in stijl. Om half vijf gaat de wekker en staan Frits en ik, zo stil als mogelijk in een camper waar je alles hoort, op. We laten de kids slapen en rijden naar Lipon point, bijna het laatste uitkijktpunt van de south rim, daar wachten we tot de zon op is.
