this is where the pink river dolphins hang out, you can go swimming with them...bearing in ming also aligators, snakes etc also like to take a dip here!
mosquitos anyone? yes please..rurrenabaque pampas tour November 20th 2006 I love this place minus the mosquitos ofcourse. Went on a tiny plane to the rurrenabaque which skirts the amazon and pampas (wetlands and surrounding area). w chose anaconda tours and went into the pampas for 3 days. So that travel bug thing seems to not have worn off then! 35 now and been all over the shop, decided would rather be mincing round on a beach and up a mountain that up at 5 am tending to a screaming child So After our last big trip from Mexico to Panama we are back on the road again 3 years later and this time with a lighter rucksack (lessons have been learned!) .
