"The Church of the Assumption"

On the island in the middle of the lake, the ancient Slavs worshipped Živa, goddess of love and fertility. Pilgrims later came to the church of St Mary on the island.

Bled, Slovenia

The drive from Klagenfurt to Bled, Slovenia is only an hour and a half, so after lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, Dani, Whitney and I squished into the car.
