Wooden farm implements

We hiked past many small farms, where the owners came to work the fields, but no longer lived on the property...just too far from services, schools...they spend the night when needed...corn and potatoes are the main crops.
Hiking way, way down and way up! And way down and way up....

Well, my feet may never be the same...I've counted about five blisters...but we had a fantastic time on the hikes. I do now know that my comfortable walking shoes are not good for hiking....
