We arrived in a rainy Sydney a week ago and found a dorm in the very modern and funky "Railway Square YHA" near Central station which used to be the stations's "Inward Parcels Shed" and shares some of the platform with the railway company. We started this travel blog in 2005 when we set off on a ten-month around-the-world trip with a couple of backpacks and not much else. In 2008, we emigrated to New Zealand with four suitcases and a guitar and spent the first month travelling throughout the country, from Auckland to Christchurch, via a roundabout route.
