A real meat market

Since we were now in the farmers' market and it looked like they were about ready to close up for the day, I wanted to get a look at the butchers' shops. This lovely sight greeted us almost as soon as we entered the huge warehouse structure and as we walked along all the shops displayed sheep and goats in a similar manner. It didn't seem all that hygenic to me, but based on what I had tasted so far I wasn't about to get squeamish now. After we left the lines of meat vendors we walked by a row of cheese shops. I grabbed a couple of free samples and just smiled and nodded when the shopkeeper started yammering in Greek.
Day Thirteen (Thursday)

July 6th 2006
The last day of the land portion of this tour. I slept pretty well after our busy busy day. We actually got to sleep in a bit today. Breakfast was in a large room in the hotel.
