About two years ago I read a book called Whispers in the sand by Barbera Erskine and it was about a woman who retraced her great grandmothers trip on the River Nile, visiting all the tombs and temples along the way. hi karen here, I'm a first timer to this travelling lark and off on my first adhoc adventure in 17 days !! Thailand is my destination both north and south.
