Hotel Meade

This hotel was purchased by Dr. John Singleton Meade in 1890 for $1250 who then remodeled and turned it into a plush hotel. It was the center of social activity of the town. It operated off and on until te 1940's.

We left N Bar S Ranch this morning to make our way to Polson, Mt. We ate at a little place in Dell, MT (which has a population of 35) called the Calf A (nice play on words huh?). It is an old one room schoolhouse and everyone just shares tables if there aren't enough seats to have your own. They have really good home cooked food.
