She's Not Here Now. She's Out Queening.

Holyrood Palace is one of Queen Elizabeth's homes. It is officially known as the seat of Scottish kings and queens and since Elizabeth is Queen of the United Kingdom, this is her crib now. It is most famous as the place where Mary Queen of Scots' advisor, David Rizzio, was murdered right before her eyes. Once just an abbey, Scottish Kings built a home next to the guys with the money. Now the abbey is in ruins and the palace is a populat tourist attraction.
Day Two Where We Try To Find Something to Do

Merry Christmas to us. In the spirit of the holiday I allowed everyone to sleep in a bit. Had it been any other day I would have had us out exploring the city at the break of dawn.
