Now I Know What I Was Doing Wrong

At thet ime this picture looked fine on my tiny camera display. Now I can see it is greatly under-exposed. I was trying to get a picture of the City Observatory. I should have aimed the camera lower and let the light meter adjust to the subject rather than having the meter react to the brightly lit sky. Stupid mistake because it may be a long time until I get a second chance.

Merry Christmas to us. In the spirit of the holiday I allowed everyone to sleep in a bit. Had it been any other day I would have had us out exploring the city at the break of dawn.
