The chapel at Frederiksborg Castle was completed in 1617 and is one of the few preserved interiors from the time of Christian IV. It was the only large room to survive the fire in 1859.. Altar area

Got up early and ate breakfast buffet (primarily pastries, meats and cheeses) and then walked to the train station for about a 40 minute ride to Hillerod where we toured the Fredriksborg Castle and chapel. Some amazing and VERY OLD art work.
