Although it took major league baseball 70 years to finally recognize Lou Gehrig, today July 4 2009 they finally did it. Lou Gehrig the Yankee ball player that this disease was named after was 38 when he was diagnosed in 1939. I live in Beverly ,Massachusetts with my two daughters Maya and Maxanne, and my wife Karen. Karen and I cruised up the coast and across Alaska in the summer of 2008 our daughters Maya and Maxanne joined us for the cruise part of the trip. I love to travel and experience new things.
