After another night of unbearable heat and being dive-bombed by mosquitoes, I awoke to a very nice breeze moving across the canal. Hi! I'm Rachel, and I am an art history doctoral candidate doing research and intensive Italian language studies in Venice. I am currently writing my dissertation on images of St. Mary Magdalene in Renaissance and Baroque Venice and Rome.
