Twelve Tasks of Hercules
This livig room mosaic showe the twelve tasks of Hercules in ovals and the four seasons in squares. Most living room mosaics were made upside down to the person entering the room to show hospitality. A person shouldn't linger in the doorway but come in and stay a while. Rooms had detailed central mosaics and simpler patterns around the edges which were covered by couches and beds, as modern Moroccan living rooms are today.
