Street Drains

All the seemingly modern conveniences they had here are quite amazing, from slidig garage doors to pretty flower shaped grates to drain away rain water. Supposedly during Roman times Morocco actually got rain, though it is much greener up north than what I'm used to by Marrakech.

It was hard leaving Rebecca and Maryam, but it was time to hit the road. Yesterday I left the house early in the morning and took a shared grand taxi to Ben Guerir where I caught a train north to Meknes.
