On my way back from Chile to Peru
May 18th 2008 San Pedro de Atacama was the first stop after we said good bye to Salar de Uyuni desert.
It is small charming town located in the driest desert in the world - the Atacama Desert.
The average altitude of the town is 2450m, which is not as bad as in the Uyuni desert.
