Rock formations at El Torcal

El Torcal was easily one of the highlights of our time in Andalusia. We first read about it in that book again ‘1001 Natural Wonders You Must See Before You Die’ and decided to drive there from Granada. A couple of mid 20 year olds, started this blog back in 2006. We left our homeland of New Zealand and set off on our trip of a lifetime. These entries follow our travels from our New Zealand to London and back again. Total geeks - no Las Vegas or full moon parties here. We used '1001 Natural wonders' to plan our trips. Sometimes riding 5 hours on the back of a motorbike to see a waterfall or random rock formation. Since arriving back home in New Zealand in 2011, travels haven't been much of a priority.
