Happy 4th of July! We woke this morning to the most beautiful sunrise over the bay. Gail joined us for a scrumtious "full" breakfast (juice, fruit salad, eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, mushrooms, toast and tea) on the terrace outside our rooms. Tell us a bit about yourself... this information will appear on your page. I was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa on June 2, 1970, and emigrated from there to the US in March, 1983 with my parents and 2 sisters. On June 9, 1979, however, my family embarked on an adventure that changed my world--we took a 7-week trip to England, the US, Canada, and Germany. I was fascinated by the way people lived in other places. I enjoyed new taste sensations(humbugs and Dr Pepper) and sights beyond my imaginings (fireworks on the 4th of July, that field of roses in Germany). I still love to travel... full info
