"The Imperial Library (Hofbibliothek), in the S.E. wing of the Hofburg, facing the Josephs-Platz, was erected by J. B. Fischer von Erlach, and completed in 1726. The domed central building is crowned with a Minerva in her quadriga, while the wings are presided over by Atlas and Gæa, with the celestial and the terrestrial globe respectively. ...
