Tortum, the gateway to the courtyard (Schlosshof). Atthe right is the Gothic Ruprechtsbau. The Ruprechtsbau. is the oldest surviving residential wing within Heidelberg Castle. Built under King Ruprecht I Elector Palatine, who ruled between 1400 and 1410. IMG_1189p1
