St. Louis Catholic Church in Castroville

Built in 1868-1870, it was the third permanent church erected by the parish. The church has served the Castroville area for over 175 years. Still an active parish. The church is open for visitors to come inside for quiet reflection.

We spent a night in Stockton, TX on our way to San Antonio, TX. We glamped at Alsatian RV Resort in Castroville. We learned about a self-guided walking tour of the town from our RV neighbor.
