Someset Bridge

Someset Bridge. Built about 1624 to connect Sandys Parish and Southampton Parish. Said to be the world's smallest drawbridge, it does not draw up. A 22 inch (56 cm) gap to permit sailboat masts to pass through is covered by a wooden plank. DSC_0424p1

Carnival Legend docked at King’s Wharf at the Royal Naval Dockyard early on Wednesday morning. Susan and watched the docking while having breakfast on the Lido Deck. A beautiful sunny morning.
