The mill at Verzenay / De molen van Verzenay
This mill is close to Verzenay, 2 kms before today’s endpoint of Verzy. It was built in 1821 and has a wide view all around. It played an important role in both the First and Second World War. It was bought by Campagne house G.H. Mumm in 1972.
Deze molen staat vlak bij Verzenay, 2 km voor ons eindpunt van vandaag: Verzy. Ze is gebouwd in 1821 en geeft een weids uitzicht over het hele gebied eromheen. Ze speelde een belangrijke rol tijdens de Eerste en Tweede Wereldoorlog. Ze is in 1972 gekocht door het Champagne huis van G.H. Mumm.
