Römerbrücke
Römerbrücke - Roman Bridge over the Moselle at Trier. The bridge pillars date to the second century AD. The deck was rebuilt in the 18th century and widened in the 19th century.
"Adjacent is the Moselle Bridge, with eight arches, most of the buttresses of which are of Roman origin. The second and seventh buttresses from the town-side were blown up by the French in 1689, and restored in 1729. The bridge is 620 ft. long".--Baedeker 1911.
Part of the Roman Monuments, Cathedral of St. Peter and Church of Our Lady in Trier UNESCO World Heritage Site.
